Information to process personal data

It is important that you know that the personal data you provide to us is processed responsibly, transparently and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council. You are entitled to request information about personal data that has been gathered, its correction or deletion if it has been granted on the basis of your consent. If processing is automatic, you have the right to data portability and to not be the subject of a decision based solely on that decision-making process. Securing your personal data

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data sufficiently with respect to the importance of its processing. No unauthorised person has access to personal data that we have obtained from you, and we will not pass it on to other entities for further processing without your consent unless required by law or for the protection of our legal interests.
Right to information
You have the right to ask Elektrotechnický zkušební ústav, s. p. for information on which personal data we process, as well as to what extent and for what purpose. We will provide this information free of charge within 30 days, and in extraordinary situations within 90 days. In extraordinary situations we will inform you in advance of the extension of the time limit. Right to data portability

Update of data, right to repair
As personal information may change over time (for example, changes of surname), we will be delighted if you inform us of any changes in your personal information so that your personal data is up-to-date and does not contain any mistakes. Submission of information about changes in data is necessary to allow us to properly perform our activities as an Administrator.
This is also related to your right to repair the personal information that we hold. If you find that our data is no longer up-to-date, you have the right to have it repaired.
Objections
If you believe that we have not processed your personal data in accordance with applicable Czech and EU law, you have the right to object, and we will then verify the validity of your request. Processing of your personal data will be restricted from the moment that an objection is submitted until it is verified that the objection is justified. Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if you believe that such data is not accurate or we have processed it unlawfully, or if you believe that we no longer need it for processing.
Right of erasure
If you have ever given us consent to process our personal information (for example, an e-mail address as part of a business message sent), you have the right to revoke this consent at any time, and we have the obligation to delete the data that we process solely based on your consent. The right of erasure does not apply to data processed under contract performance obligations, for statutory reasons or due to legitimate interests. If some of your data is stored in backup systems that automatically ensure the resilience of all of our systems and is fulfils the function of data loss protection for crashes, we shall be unable to erase that data from backup systems, and it is often not even technically feasible. However, such data will no longer be actively processed and will not be used for further processing purposes.
